It's been quite the transition from Peru, volunteer
mode, to deciding to come to Patagonia, with virtually no internet, to attempt
a climb and jump of a beautiful wall beneath Cerro Torre, El Mocho. Only 3 people, all professional
sponsored climbers, previously jumped in this area, and I am the first woman. I
have realized a great dream and lifetime achievement with the help of
some very amazing people, including my love, Chad Milton. It took months
of planning and hard work to make everything finally come together. Several
people stepped in and supported our goal when we needed it most -- We could not
have done it otherwise! We leave Patagonia with love and respect for our new
friends, great respect for these mountains, and the knowledge bestowed upon us
